SyncToy for Windows XP. This looks like something I’ve been looking for to sync folders on my desktop and laptop omputers. It doesn’t appear to be as robust as the sync tool in PowerDesk, but then PD’s sync usually crashes! Be prepared to complete the Windows validation process (which works best if your browser runs ActiveX); I recommend using IE – just this time – for the download to make the Windows validation process easier.

Update: I just tried sync’ing folders on my desktop and on my laptop and it worked prefectly. Of course, the folders must be available on all both systems. The tool allows saving of “folder pairs” for future use and offers several file options. Nice tool so far.

DrPhil.com – Advice – Dr. Phil’s Ten Life Laws. Basically, take responsibility for your own life – if you don’t, nobody will. Similar “life laws” are listed in many places. I think these are pretty good. The hardest part with these is making the leap from intellectual agreement to internal action. People will read these and comment “oh, those are good!,” but rarely apply them to their own lives.
