Angels give 80% or more of donations to those in need. Scrooges give much less; the highest on this year’s top 10 list was 35% and one “charity” give 0.8%!

Notice that the scrooges often have police or firefighters organizations in their names.

Update: Firefox 1.5 includes Wikipedia as an optional search engine — sweet!

I just returned from having blood drawn and giving a urine sample as part of my annual physical. The lab tech had some small trouble finding a vein, and that’s not usually a problem. She said that can be a problem if you haven’t had any fluids that morning and are slightly dehydrated. So, I learned that I need to drink plenty of water before going to give blood.
