For the city of Myrtle Beach: “Did you know… That from May 15 to September 15, dogs are not permitted on the beach between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.? When dogs are permitted on the beach, they must be on a leash of seven feet or shorter, and you must pick up droppings and properly dispose of them.
One site notes that in Horry County the restriction is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., same dates.
